Amanda Moore was named 1 of 25 new fellows by School Board Partners, a national organization that supports elected school board members across the country who prioritize education equity and anti-racism in their school board leadership. School Board Partners supports elected leaders through this competitive fellowship and teaches actionable skills through a national community of practice, mentorship, and policy support. Amanda serves on the school board for Murfreesboro City Schools.

Amy Farrar served as a host for the Charity Circle of Murfreesboro’s Annual Valentine’s Luncheon. This year, the luncheon was converted into a drive by brownie pick up to raise money for the nine ongoing local non-profits agencies that receive dedicated support from the Charity Circle. The Charity Circle of Murfreesboro is a women’s organization founded in 1910 whose fundraising efforts benefit food, clothing, shelter and medicine insecurity needs for Rutherford County neighbors. In 2019, the organization distributed more than $436,000 to local non-profit organizations.
